Aging in Place
ELDER ACHIEVERS believes that seniors should be able to stay in their own home, living independently as long as possible. If it develops that this is clinically inappropriate or impossible, then movement should be to the least restrictive alternative. Then that becomes the new “place”. We know that it is most frequently possible to find a way to maintain the dignity and independence of an elder by structuring the environment, and providing support systems. That is what ELDER ACHIEVERS does.
